About Us

About The BeachCombers, we, Monique, Davian and Sebastièn started out this beachcombing during beach strolls and noticed that the advised 3 pieces of plastic from each beach visit isn't sufficient.

The first day we went for a real beachcombing we where shocked about the rubbish we collected in just 2 hours.
We kept on doing collecting and cleaning the plastics from our beaches but didn't had an idea what to do with the finds. If you give it to the garbage collector it will probably end up a landfill and then end up in our nature again.

That is when we decided to use the material in creative ways and try to educate everyone with our visions and finds. At this point we make puppets out of fishing lines, bracelets and broaches, compositions.

What do we do?
Creative education

Our vision is to educate the community, local and visitors, about the state the oceans and beaches are in. By re-using the finds we want to have local communities to create things out of these finds and use this to generate their own business.

Our organisation

We are a non commercial, nonprofit, no nonsense, idealistic group, this means that individuals can donate at their own will. All the beach cleaning and workshop activities are sponsored out of our own savings.

If you feel the need to take one of the items of our upcycled items you can put a voluntarily donation towards our goals.
